Electronic engineering placement for Semester 2 2025
Length of internship to match university requirements. Typically full time, 38 hours per week, this is negotiable.
Work within our EE team on the design and development of medical and security X-Ray products.
Candidates typically have a project suited for the duration of their placement that could be extended into a final years honours project.
Interns at Micro-X get fully embedded within the resource group team as well as being assigned onto a mini-project. A mentor will help guide the planning, design and then build and test of the project solution. Additionally, working on cost reduction, bug fix and customer requests for enhancements that reside in our system on existing products that are not critical path, to allow the intern to learn and understand how to work within a regulated quality management system
